One of the Speed Week regulations is everyone must run a steering damper. I used one of these fancy Pingel dampers clamped to my front fork tube and used a handy
threaded coped bung to attach it to the frame. I can't tell you how great it is to have bins of these things in your shop. You can always use em!

I also turned down some fork stops and welded a stop in place. No joke Tyler's
DIY Tech Tip helped, and worked great. I did have to limit mine to only 15 degrees turning radius in either direction though! It's all about the straight line!
