Introducing The Sportster Bolt-On Hardtail By David Bird
David Bird has just finished his newest frame, a Sportster bolt-on hardtail that fits 1954 - 1978 (other year ranges being prototyped now!). David Bird Triumph, BSA and XS650 frames have been the basis for countless killer builds, featured in magazines world-wide. This is an innovative frame that is a bolt-on with a super easy install but that doesn't use the stock shock mounts as other frames on the market do. These are each hand crafted to order in your choice of straight or David's signature looped style hardtail rails, and +0", +2", +4" or +6" of stretch and -0", -1", -2", -3" or -4" of drop. The frame pictured here is a looped style, 4" stretch, 2" drop. All necessary hardware is included, and all the hardware and the hardtail frames are 100% Made In The USA! Forget the junky cheap-o imports that have been around for years, this is the highest quality Sportster hardtail on the market. Get yours today!
See just how easy it is to install your hardtail for 1954 - 1972 Sportsters or 1973 - 1978 Sportsters. Within a couple of hours you can have your hardtail installed and your stock wheel, axle, spacers and drum brake setup right back in place! The only difference in the two year ranges is a forged seat post / shock mount area versus the later square bar style, the install is just as easy for each.
