Dave's Modern Triumph Chopper

Dave Rhinehart sent in some photos of his recently completed modern Triumph that he chopped with the help of an LCFabrications Hinckley Triumph hardtail frame that he picked up from us. He did a killer job! You can check out more custom chopper and cafe racer parts for modern Triumphs here.

A little work on my 67 Triumph Land Speed Bike

I spent a little time in the shop today working to get my bike ready for the Bonneville World Finals, we leave in just over a week so it's crunch time again! I am switching classes to special construction/partially streamlined pushrod gas. The record is actually a bit softer but I had to do a bunch of modifications to put me into the proper class. These changes should help me go faster too! I will finish the mods and mounting my fairing tomorrow. Special thanks to Glass From the Past for getting me a fairing out on such short notice! Cheers, Kyle

Aussie Invasion at Bonneville Speed Week!

One of the first days of racing I see this bike on the start line while I am waiting for my turn to run. I literally did a double take, took some pics and watched the bike take off....a Vincent...Really?! It was another day or so before we got to meet this crew from the other side of the globe. Ends up they were here to run at Speed Week then stay on and run the BUB trials also, all in all they were spending about 5 weeks in the US traveling in between just crushing records in their classes.
L to R: Mal Hewett, Shane Hicks, Mark Hamilton (Digger), Bill Lockwood, Col Kranz, and Paul Wilkins and their World Record Holding Vincent!
Here is most of the Aussie crew, along with my dad, Tyler and myself waiting in line for one of our last runs at Speed Week.
These guys are the real deal, they left Australia and came halfway around the world to race the salt and make some history. And evidently terrorize some casino waitresses I hear! Hope to see you guys next Speed Week!

The Lowbrow Holeshot was a Sucess. Fun was had, tires were ruined.

The Lowbrow Holeshot was a blast. There was a great turn-out, between racers, spectators and party-goers there was a turnout in the hundreds. The quantity and quality of photos started to wane as the night went on (I can't figure out why haha) but by nightfall there wasn't a parking spot to be had, bikes everywhere, and camps set up all along the entire back fence right near the motocross track.

A big thanks goes out to the sponsors who helped us make this happen. Those sponsors include Biltwell Inc., Chop Cult, Fabricator Kevin, Four Aces Cycle, Greasy Kulture Magazine, Hobgoblin Dark Ale and Sideburn Magazine.

We have uploaded a bunch of photos to a flickr album here, for those of you who were there, please email us (sales@lowbrowcustoms.com) any of your photos from the Holeshot that you would like us to include in the album. Thanks!

New xs650 Project in the Stable

I sold my BSA to my friend Greg, and I am never happy unless there is absolutely no room in the shop to move and so I figured it was time to find another bike to work on in my spare time (ha). Picked up this '75 Yamaha XS650 dirt tracker a couple hours south of me. Runs (kind of) and rides, needs new points and throttle cable. I am going to try and get it dialed in just enough to rip around on it this weekend at the Holeshot and work on it more after that.
