Kareem from down in Columbus, Ohio (he set up the Pinned show down there) was at the Lowbrow Holeshot back in September 2011 and was one of the few people to fight through the drunken ether and drag out a camera and get some video. This is a quick video of a nice unit Triumph getting beat on in the middle of the main drinking pavillion! Late at night I might add.

The Lowbrow Holeshot, tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 24th, 2011
TOMORROW is the 2nd annual Lowbrow Holeshot at Western Reserve Motorcycle Club in conjunction with their flat track races. The address is 14439 W Middletown Rd, Salem, OH 44460. Friends are already arriving from all around Ohio, and as far away as California with more on the way from all directions. The weather is actually looking pretty good, but if there is a sprinkle or two of rain all you hardcore motorcycle enthusiasts won't have any trouble with that, I am sure. The Holeshot is going on rain or shine! We don't have an organized ride going out, but small groups of people are leaving from all dfiferent locations and converging starting in the mid-afternoon. Come on out and let them know you are there with Lowbrow when coming in the gate for free entry, and watch the races, enjoy the great food and bar-be-que prepared by our friend LF, live music by The Burning Harlots, and a screening of The Salt Ghost under the stars, with more biker flick b-movies to follow. Free beer while it lasts, and camping, be prepared for an all night party!

The 2nd Annual Lowbrow Customs Holeshot
If you missed this last year, you missed a great party....if you miss it this year, you will miss the biggest, craziest, raddest party in all of the World!
Ok I may be exaggerating, but if you can make it, do it! This is shaping up to be an even better time than the first! Free food, beer, racing, camping, some special guests, movie screenings, and I am pretty sure it will live up to it's name just like last year! Oh did I mention the Chopper Dirt Track Challenge?

The 2nd Annual Lowbrow Holeshot September 24 - 25 Salem, Ohio

The Lowbrow Holeshot is back for a 2nd year at Western Reserve Motorcycle Club September 24th and 25th, 2011! For more info and for any updates check out the Lowbrow Holeshot event page. Last year was a blast and the club welcomed us back to another night of flat track races, partying and camping. This year we have a couple nice events planned including a chopper dirt track race with a cash prize and screenings of The Salt Ghost and El Diablo Run (both coming soon!) videos outdoors under the stars! McGoo of ChopCult and Biltwell will be in town as well visiting Lowbrow, attending the Holeshot and shooting bike features for ChopCult. Should be an epic weekend, so start making your plans to be there now.

The Lowbrow Holeshot was a Sucess. Fun was had, tires were ruined.
The Lowbrow Holeshot was a blast. There was a great turn-out, between racers, spectators and party-goers there was a turnout in the hundreds. The quantity and quality of photos started to wane as the night went on (I can't figure out why haha) but by nightfall there wasn't a parking spot to be had, bikes everywhere, and camps set up all along the entire back fence right near the motocross track.

A big thanks goes out to the sponsors who helped us make this happen. Those sponsors include Biltwell Inc., Chop Cult, Fabricator Kevin, Four Aces Cycle, Greasy Kulture Magazine, Hobgoblin Dark Ale and Sideburn Magazine.
We have uploaded a bunch of photos to a flickr album here, for those of you who were there, please email us (sales@lowbrowcustoms.com) any of your photos from the Holeshot that you would like us to include in the album. Thanks!

New xs650 Project in the Stable

I sold my BSA to my friend Greg, and I am never happy unless there is absolutely no room in the shop to move and so I figured it was time to find another bike to work on in my spare time (ha). Picked up this '75 Yamaha XS650 dirt tracker a couple hours south of me. Runs (kind of) and rides, needs new points and throttle cable. I am going to try and get it dialed in just enough to rip around on it this weekend at the Holeshot and work on it more after that.
