I got my Vanson Leathers today!

UPS showed up today with a big box from Vanson Leathers. And inside? My race leathers. Bonneville is feeling VERY real now! Time to get that bike finished up, tested, and tuned! Then break in those leathers and that race bike on the salt.......I can't wait.

The Lowbrow Getdown was a big success, with over 100 people riding in from NJ, New Hampshire, NY, PA, MI, and all over Ohio, as well as Canada! Click the photo above or here to check out a Flickr set with a bunch of photos from the event. Some of these photos are credited to Tim Averre and Atesh, and perhaps others, this is all the photos that have come in, if you have any to add email them to us!

The Lowbrow Getdown.

The Lowbrow Getdown was a huge success! We had over 100 people show up from all over Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, West Virginia, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, even as far away as Toronto Canada! We had a smooth 2 hr ride to the campground and even though the weather called for 50% chance of thunderstorms all we saw all weekend was sun and blue skies. Here's a bunch of photos, as soon as we sort through them all we will post a photo album for the event. We just want to thank everyone for the support and coming out, and to thank our sponsors for helping make this possible. If you missed this, you missed out! Planning is in the works for an end of the season Getdown, stay tuned!

These photos are by Tim Averre, check out his photography website and more photos here!

Lowbrow Getdown Updates

We just got back from setting up the main infrastructure of the Getdown.. Make sure to tell them at the entrance you are there for the Lowbrow Getdown and you should get a wristband for free camping! That is only for the first 100 people, after that it is $15 per person for the night for camping. This is what you will see coming up to the spot in the campground.

Here is the main area, kegs, big fire, food etc, with tons of camping area all around, and the quarry 20 seconds away

If anyone is camping tonight (friday), camp near this setup and keep an eye on it, we will have people showing up by lunchtime Saturday and the local ride we are leading should show up around 2:30 pm at latest

See you soon, this is going to be a blast!

The Lowbrow Getdown is tomorrow!

2 kegs of Hobgoblin Dark Ale and a watermelon.. looks like a party to me! We are loading up everything for the Lowbrow Getdown today and getting some stuff set up over at ground-zero. If you are rolling in early follow the campsite map to where the party is and you will see a big 20' x 20' canopy and a motorhome, that is home base for the Getdown. By lunchtime tomorrow there will be cold, tapped kegs, a hot grill, a bunch of food and plenty of beautiful weather (hope hope). We have a couple guys (Paul & Marco, and Heather) coming in from the East coast today, and more that are going to be camping tonight, and tomorrow people should be rolling in all day long. Hope to see you there!

The Lowbrow Getdown is next Saturday, June 19th, 2010

The Lowbrow Getdown is next Saturday, June 19th. If you have nothing to do you better high-tail it out to Ohio and tear it up in the woods!

We have the camping paid for for the first 100 party-goers that show up, otherwise it is $15 for the night!

The Lowbrow Getdown is almost here!

Greg and I did a pre-run today out to the campground, I will get the route online tomorrow. Check out the details on The Lowbrow Getdown page for updates. Here are some pics of along the way and some more of the Quarry where the party is at:

Check out this huge snake. He is already there waiting for the party to start so you better show up he is prone to depression.

There is an event page on Facebook for it too, so if you are on there you can join up or talk about your cat or post photos of yourself you feel make you look attractive, even though you aren't.
